And then there's the Banh Xeo. It's almost like a crispy crepe filled with pork, shrimp, onion, and been sprouts. You cut up the crepe put some mustard leaves and basil on it, then wrap it in lettuce leaves and dip it in a sauce.

The first one I got in a restaurant. |
|
Banh xeo being cooked |
|
My breakfast on my last day in Vietnam. I found a sweet lady cooking on the sidewalk and she set up a little table for me. People were stopping by on their scooters and she was handing them a banh xeo and a bag of leaves.

And of course, the mangosteen, only the most delicious fruit I've ever tasted!
