Zongzi

Zongzi, or sticky rice dumplings are the traditional food of the Dragon Boat Festival. Surprisingly, I couldn't find any at the actual Dragon Boat races.

Luckily, my friend gave me a delicious, homemade one to try.

Wrapped in a bamboo leaf, the zongzi is full of sticky rice and a variety of different fillings; in this case pork and beans.

Orange Tea

Chicken, rice, and veg

Sweet soup

There are these cool buffets all around Taipei. You get a box and go around and take whatever you want then pay by weight. All the food (not the tea) was only NT60, that's about $2!

Hot Pot

A hotpot is just all different kinds of meat, fish, and veggies that you cook yourself in a pot of broth. This one had a spicy broth and a plain broth and it was delicious!

Shrimp Wonton Noodles

A nice lunch in Da'an Park. Dry Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup!
